Mac Developer

As a Mac Developer, you will work within a team through all stages of the definition and implementation cycle of our software. You will be following agile software development principals to develop a range of new and existing products. This position calls for someone who has a strong technical experience in developing Mac products, coupled with excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

Creative Lead Designer
Uniblue is looking for a Creative Lead Designer for its Marketing Department who can take forward a multi-skilled team of graphic and web designers. The post calls for someone who has a strong technical background, coupled with exemplary design skills.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize marketing campaigns from start to finish;
- Ensure creative material meets high standards and follows marketing guidelines;
- Must be able to manage the creative team from concept to completion on various projects with strong leadership;
- Assign requests to team members, making sure deadlines are respected;
- Work closely with other designers as well as other teams in marketing and stakeholders;
- Create mock-ups, wireframes, landing pages, banners or any other creative material as needed.
Your Skills and Experience:
- At least three years related working experience;
- A design portfolio that reflects a deep understanding of web design;
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to lead a team of designers;
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people;
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript as well as the Adobe Creative Suite (PS,DW, FW);
- Complete fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
UX Designer
As a product UX designer, you will work within a UX team through all stages of the definition and part of the implementation cycle of our software. You will be responsible for defining, designing and implementing the visual interface layer and think critically about how to make this highly usable, intuitive, creative and elegant.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the fast-moving UX team to improve user experience through quality and intuitive design
- Work closely with other designers and developers on the production team
- Translate complex ideas into elegant, intuitive designs
- Define, implement and extend style guidelines with rest of team.
- Able to assist in front-end development using HTML and CSS.
Your Skills & Experience:
- A design portfolio that reflects a deep understanding of UX, clean visual design and pixel-perfect attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge of UX and web design apps/programs.
- Expertise using the Adobe suite; primarily Photoshop, Fireworks and Illustrator.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS and web standards.
- Exemplary design skills, including an eye for exquisite layout, typography, and icon design.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to explain rationale behind design solutions.
- A University level of education in graphic / interaction design will be considered an asset.
- A minimum of 3 years related working experience.
- Javascript knowledge, primarily using the jQuery library. Having previously worked in a Scrum environment with Agile practices will be considered an asset, but is not essential.
Software Developer
As a Uniblue software developer you will be following agile software development principles to develop our popular range of high performance Windows desktop applications.
Your key responsibilities:
- Taking the initiative to increase your current programming expertise;
- Developing the code underlying our products;
- Working with the team to improve our agile software development practices;
- Increasing the knowledge of the team by self-development or mentoring as required.
Your skills and experience:
- Experience of developing software with a dynamic programming language (Python, Ruby, Perl, PHP, Javascript, etc);
- A University level of education in mathematics, a science, engineering or a technical field;
- The willingness to learn Python, if your current expertise is limited to another programming language;
- Knowledge of agile software development would be useful, but not essential.
Email Marketing Specialist

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the development, planning and continual optimisation of our B2C user communications model;
- Have influence over selection of new ways in which to engage with our customers, with the possibility of creating and developing in-product messaging;
- Account manage the relationship between our email database provider and act as the internal database guru to ensure timely delivery of email campaigns to various customer segments;
- Work closely with designers to create and develop new email materials and concepts;
- Liaise and communicate with internal teams to co-ordinate all email send-outs;
- Conduct daily performance analysis and work closely with the reporting department to gather statistical data;
- Be involved in the continual analysis of our customer base, suggest and implement new segmentation strategies;
- Research and keep up-to-date with the latest email trends and tools available.
Your Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years working experience in an email marketing role is required;
- Graduate with a marketing or business-related degree is desired;
- Working experience in a B2C user communication environment;
- Knowledge of email marketing tools and databases;
- Agency management skills are a necessity;
- Must possess an excellent level of English, both written and spoken. Fluency in another language would be an asset;
- Numerically literate and able to analyse data to identify business opportunities;
- A creative mindset in order to be able to create innovative promotional material together with our creative team;
- Confident with good team work and organisational skills.
