Why is RegistryBooster not cleaning all identified errors?

RegistryBooster peforms an extensive search through the registry. Entries could be reappearing because:

a) They are locked and cannot be deleted.
b) The are automatically recreated by the system.

Some entries may be locked by a program set to load automatically upon startup. You may be able to delete these entries by running the program in 'Safe mode with networking'.

For graphical instructions on how to boot your computer in Safe mode, click on one of the links below:

For Windows Vista:

If the entries are still there after you scan and fix via safe mode, then we recommend you add the entries to the Ignore list as follows:

  • Run a scan
  • After scan is completed, click the Detailed View button.
  • Right-click on one of the entries found and click Add to ignore list.
  • Repeat the above step with the other keys found.
