Configuring Avira Premium Security Suite

To unblock the application, follow the steps below:

1.) Start the Avira Premium Security Suite.

2.) Open the Firewall Configuration by clicking on (1) Extras and (2) Configuration in the menu bar.

3.) In the Configuration window, click on the plus sign next to Firewall, to expand the Firewall menu and click on Application rules. In the right panel, under Firewall > Application rules, the application rules are available. The list has three columns: Application, Mode and Action. (3) Action shows how the Firewall is treating the application.

If the action is set to Deny, the Firewall blocks all network traffic for that application.

4.) To unblock the application blocked, (4) click on the action twice, to change the action into Allow.

To save the changes made, press the Apply button and then OK button.

The blocked application should now be allowed access to the Internet.
