this is because of the presence of a non-String registry key in the startup area of your registry which our product does not handle. To resolve this issue, goto the 'start menu' and goto 'run'. Type in 'regedit' and press 'ok'. The Registry Editor will load. It is important that you follow these instructions as they are written since deleting the wrong thing can have serious implications on your computer. On the left you will have a group of directories, and on the right a window which displays what registry keys are in that particular registry directory. Proceed to goto 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' and expand it by clicking on the '+' symbol. Goto the 'Software' directory and then to 'Microsoft', then to 'Windows' and then to 'CurrentVersion', and finally to the 'Run' directory. You should now be at the below directory:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Locate the offending key or keys in directory. These entries will be a different color from the normal 'red' string type keys. Proceed to delete by highlighting and pressing the delete key for each of the key which are not a 'String'.
If you cannot find any of the keys I describe, there is one other place there maybe erroneous entries. Try looking in the following registry area in regedit.exe:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Having done this, the product should now work as normal without any errors.
