Uniblue renews its commitment to One Laptop per Child

Following last year’s Uniblue Causes campaign, the company has renewed its commitment to the non-profit organization One Laptop per Child (OLPC), by donating a further 100 laptops to children in developing nations. Since 2007, OLPC has provided approximately 2.5 million children and teachers in 42 countries with sturdy, low-cost, low-power, connected XO laptops, in order to facilitate collaborative, self-empowered learning.

It has become very easy to take for granted things like electricity, computers and an internet connection but these are things we use every day which help us grow and expand our horizons. Uniblue Causes Empowering the disadvantaged

Although charity is said to begin at home, our increasingly connected world can also bridge us to far away causes. This month, Uniblue Causes focuses on two organizations - the Nepali Women Yoga Trust and the YMCA homeless based in Malta.


The Nepali Women Yoga Trust helps destitute women live a self-sufficient life by training them in reading and writing, holistic therapies and handicraft skills. It is hoped that, in the future, trained women will inspire other Nepali women to seek ...

Uniblue supporting Japan relief effort

In the aftermath of the Tsunami and earthquake that hit Japan, Uniblue has launched Uniblue Causes – a charity program that is set to support the relief effort. Uniblue Causes will focus on a charity cause each month and strive to help through donations and awareness building.

To contribute to the Japan relief operation, Uniblue chose to donate $100,000 to Peace Winds Japan. The money will help provide basic humanitarian aid and assist the restoration of ravaged areas.

Uniblue: A Look Back at 2010

2010 can be described as a milestone for Uniblue when we enabled more PC users worldwide to use localized versions of our PC performance software, apart from relaunching two of our websites with completely new designs and information.

At the start of 2010, RegistryBooster was available in 5 languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The other products, SpeedUpMyPC, DriverScanner and PowerSuite were available in English only.
