Press Release
Processlibrary.com expands its reach and adds extra features
22 July 2008
During July 2008, Uniblue has seen record traffic on ProcessLibrary.com – the definitive reference source for any PC user wanting to find out exactly what’s running on their computer
According to internetworldstats.com¹, global internet usage has grown by 290% between 2000-2008 with over 1,4 billion users today. From conversations with their customers keen on improving PC performance and stability, Uniblue has found that increasingly, they are becoming aware of the importance of knowing more about the processes running on their PCs.
In July, ProcessLibrary.com was upgraded with several new, user-focused features as well as the addition of 40,000+ new processes and .dlls. Users of the site can now rate each process and provide feedback directly to the Uniblue Labs Team. These ratings help in identifying information that needs improving, and the comments provide an opportunity for users to make suggestions as to how the data can be improved, enabling them to actively contribute towards information displayed about individual processes. In addition, when a process search yields no results, then the research team is alerted to this and can investigate further. The back-end technology also continues to develop ensuring an increasingly efficient user experience.
The Uniblue Labs Team is a dedicated division of Uniblue involved in the research behind and development of www.processlibrary.com and www.file-extension.com
