Uniblue’s SpeedUpMyPC 2010 is a winner at Softwareload.co.uk’s “Software of the Year 2010” Awards.
added on 12th November 2010Deutsche Telekom’s UK download site, softwareload.co.uk has recently held its first annual awards, “Software of the Year 2010”: Uniblue’s computer performance program, SpeedUpMyPC is a winner in the “PC Tuning” category.
Uniblue’s SpeedUpMyPC is part of the PowerSuite range of Uniblue software, and has won several awards since it was first launched, including People’s Choice in 2007. SpeedUpMyPC performs a deep scan of a computer to identify the files, processes, and settings that could be slowing it down. Once these have been detected, the software uses a robust range of tools to optimize the system, therefore improving performance. With single click simplicity, network settings, RAM and CPU function are all scanned, cleaned and tuned for speed, while junk files are deleted for space. The result is a computer that works faster and better. The 2010 version of SpeedUpMyPC featuring a total overhaul of the user interface has been selected as a winner in the “PC Tuning” category at the “Software of the Year 2010” Awards, organized by softwareload.co.uk which is part of the Deutsche Telekom group of companies.
The “Software of the Year” nominees were selected by a panel of Softwareload executives and industry experts including Andy Shaw, reviews editor of Web User magazine, and freelance technology journalists, Gordon Kelly and Adrian Bridgwater. Almost 30,000 site users voted online during October and November 2010 for their preferred choice of software across 17 categories, including System Tools, Operating Systems and Security Suites. Web User magazine is the Official media partner of “Software of the Year 2010” Awards in the UK.
